Brew board

What rests on the hearth ledge today

Our board changes with roast date, origin lot and what the bar dialled this morning. Every item below is a specialty coffee or light food offering — priced in SGD, honest about variation, with no medical claims attached.

Espresso being pulled at BrewLife board bar

01 · Rest Filter

Daily single-origin pour-over

For the guest who wants filter coffee with a rest window built in. We brew pour-over on a rotating single-origin lot — grind and extraction adjusted per roast profile. The cup rests thirty seconds before service so the flavour opens rather than shrinks. Typical range S$6–S$9 depending on origin. Walk-in and takeaway; best before the lunch rush when the bar can give the filter full attention. Taste varies by bean lot, water and grind — we describe what we taste, not what your palate must find.

02 · Hearth Espresso

Dialled straight shot

A straight espresso from our hearth bar — dose, yield and extraction tracked through the shift. We dial in after every grinder change and note when the roast profile drifts. S$4–S$5. For guests who want the crema and body without milk. Not every shot will match your memory of yesterday's lot; roast date and humidity shift the dial. Our barista will tell you what changed if you ask.

Flat white with soft milk texture at BrewLife

03 · Life Flat White

Soft milk, quiet balance

Flat white with milk texture steamed quiet — not glossy, not loud. We aim for balance between espresso and milk so the single-origin character still reads. S$5.50–S$6.50. A neighbourhood favourite for Bukit Timah regulars who sit by the window. Milk batch and steam wand rhythm affect every cup; we reset the pitcher when texture drifts. Specialty café hospitality means telling you when the milk needs a moment.

Cold brew batch resting at BrewLife bar

04 · Cold Rest

Batch cold brew

Cold brew steeped overnight, rested again before service. Lower acidity, longer finish — suited to afternoon takeaway from Greenwood Avenue. S$6.50–S$7.50. Batch size is limited; when a lot runs out, we note it on the board rather than substitute silently. Cold brew is a brew method, not an energy promise.

Rotating pastry and light food on BrewLife board

05 · Board Pastry

Rotating light food

Pastry and light food from local suppliers — rotating with season and delivery schedule. S$4.50–S$7. Pair with filter or espresso; tell our team about allergens before ordering. We handle common allergens carefully but cannot guarantee a fully allergen-free environment. Availability changes — the board is the source of truth.

Retail coffee beans at BrewLife Greenwood

06 · Retail Beans

Take-home lots with brew notes

Retail coffee beans from our current rotation — packaged with brew method notes and rest guidance for home pour-over or espresso. S$22–S$38 per bag depending on origin lot and roast level. Wholesale and small catering enquiries welcome via contact. Grind at home affects flavour as much as our bar — we share dose ranges, not guarantees.

Taste is subjective. Menu items and availability change with seasons and supply. Prices in Singapore dollars. Coffee is a food product — we make no medical claims.
